Comment:

 Yes, I can reproduce it now, thanks for the screenshot. The save panel
 consistently seems to be using the beam-cursor. If you move the pointer
 out of the panel, it changes to the system cursor (not above the Pe
 document of course), and back to the beam cursor when moved back over the
 panel. This is not the issue I pointed out in comment 2.
