Oliver,
Seems you haven't looked at the patch yet! ;)

during the following week, I will apply first Adrien patch and then
yours.
Do *not* apply Adrien's patch first, it includes changes to build/jam/
HaikuImage, which shouldn't go in yet.
My patch includes all parts from Adrien that I hope are okay, namely
src/bin/Jamfile, src/kits/Jamfile, src/servers/Jamfile and src/add-ons/
kernel/drivers/Jamfile. I guess I should split my patch up to make
this clearer. :)
The patch integrates the bluetooth directories and the bt_dev_info
command into the Jam build system, just like Adrien's patch did.
I may add the bt_discovery one
Didn't notice that, should be added too of course.
if the Development package is installed as well, a symlink for
libbluetooth.so.
I have not understood this part, nor i am not familiar, symlink where?
See the patch! ;)
/boot/develop/libs/x86/libbluetooth.so -> /boot/beos/system/libs/
libbluetooth.so
That's necessary for developing Bluetooth applications on Haiku. (I
would be interested in creating a C# wrapper around your C++ Bluetooth
kit.)
P.S. Note that for "technical reasons" my attached patch contains an
unrelated change for freetype in the Development Optional Package. ;)
So i guess every related to this should be out?
Yes, that one line should not be committed together with Bluetooth. I
will submit an improved patch later, where this will be removed.
As for inaugurating the mailing list, on to sadder topics ... I have
tested 8 different Bluetooth USB dongles, none of them were listed in
bt_dev_info. Should I see them somewhere under /dev/busses/usb/? In
your blog you mention using usb_dev_info but that needs some argument!
I did not find a trace of them in the filesystem, and I'm unsure
whether this is a OHCI USB problem or a Bluetooth problem...
