Actually, it worked as a ps2 device under R5 some time ago. I retested 
this with a plain installation and some hardware seems to be broken, as 
it doesn't work now either. I hooked up another (years old) mouse now 
and it seems to work. Couldn't fully test it yet.
Just ignore the part about the mouse not working, but I still think that 
we maybe should lock the keyboard when initializing the mouse.
