Here are the results: after setting up MTRR for the graphics memory 
throughput speed quadrupled!!.
This is the confirmation that the BIOS does NOT set this up.

I'll try to complete the MTRR VIA driver a bit and probably post it on 
bebits then, it's based on the Be R3 P2 version :-)
