[hackpgh-discuss] So, my CEO just showed up...

The CEO of ABB is from Pittsburgh.  Apparently he's back in town to
visit his folks, and stopped by our office for a brief discussion of
things.  Some of the stuff he talked about was just stupid awesome
cool.  He discussed the offshore wind farms, and how we're one of two
companies that can do this (Siemens being the other), and some
robotics, and DC-only houses.  Reason for all of the above: ABB is
trying to be a DC advocate, because we're at a point where DC is
really much more suited for our current (haha, no pun intended) needs
with high capacity and long distance powering.

So, yah, given the number of electrical nerds on this list, I thought
I'd give the short summary hoping y'all would think it as stupid
awesome cool as I did. :)
