In the privacy tab, you have to set up sites to block, otherwise, it's
empty. If you send me the site or if you already know that it can be
accessed, I'll try giving it a try from comcast. I do know that some times,
the hosts file can become corrupt and sites will not call their correct ip
address translations.

Hi -- as for mail filtering, it is usually an option that is turned off by
default -- if you want it on you have to ask.
But there are exceptions. AOL does go out of their way to protect their
members from spam, but I have no idea what they do to filter it.
But back to the "privacy tab", I never found such a thing -- I looked all
over on all the pages of the internet options dialog, and even some of the
popup customize buttons, but cound find no list of accepted sites that I
could or could not connect to.
If someone knows how to unblock a site, please let me know!
