Hi -- One that I do not recommend is "freedownload", wherever that comes
from. I think I got it from nextup. But there is no problem with the
download manager itself, it's just that it introduces some serious
incompatibilities with some sites I visit, such as for-the-people.com. I
cannot connect to that site when I have that download manager installed. I
don't know what happens exactly, but I sometimes have to reboot to get
things back to normal. And uninstalling freedownload fixes the problem. I
know that for-the-people uses ActiveX heavily and I actually wish they would
change that as it is insecure, but in any case if you install freedownload
as your default download manager, forget about using for-the-people.

Thought I'd mention it.
Take care.
