I haven't checked the JFWLite site, but if it makes version 6.0.02 available, it should be the same as from the Adobe site and o.k. to download. The settings section is called "Internet" rather than "Web" -- my mistake. You would Uncheck the "Display PDF in browser" setting (you will need to download PDFs and then load them into Adobe Reader for optimum access). Also in that section, turn off the settings called "Check browser settings when starting Reader," and "Allow fast web view." After reviewing possible settings again, I also suggest navigating to the "Startup" section and unchecking "Display splash screen" and "show messages and automatically update." I'm not sure whether all these changes are necessary, but the idea is to eliminate optional dialogs that Adobe Reader might otherwise display before rendering the document you wish to view.
