[guispeak] Textpal query

I have only recently started to use Textpal (2.0) and as I believe that there
are other users on this list, I thought it an appropriate place to ask whether
a slight problem I have noticed is peculiar to my system (XP Pro) or can be
reproduced by others.

I was intending to go to the Manual settings but accidentally pressed Enter
on the item above it in the menu, i.e. Settings. The result was that my
system "froze", speech was lost, and only restored when with some
difficulty I managed to close TextPal. I have repeated the process several
times, but with the same result - the alt S hot keye behaves similarly.

Any comments would be much appreciated. I am using Hal rather than
Jaws as my screen reader and just wonder whether that is the source of the
problem.
