Provided the Serial/License number can be located, Duxbury or your
local Duxbury dealer will be able to help.

Oh yes, I recall Megadots crashing at times.

My question is though, I've a version 2. something of Megadots (legal
and
paid for) but have lost the activation code. Anything I can do to
retrieve
things and use the program?

Simply that I work with a local VI vol group who'd no doubt like the
benefit
of this program for the few Braille readers we have.

I'm not totally avers to upgrading to Duxbury, but think we could get
by
with Megadots.

Hi Don and George,

Here is my two cents worth.

The real answer to which is better is both.

Duxbury is more versatile and will be updated more. However, MegaDots
has
certain features that I like.

First of all, MegaDots has an easy way of formatting page or other
introductory material. I like the "stretch mode" for teh title page
that
makes sure that material has a top and bottom line, is relatively
evenly
distributed, and is centered.

The style system is simpler.

On the other hand, Duxbury is more stable. Tabs don't cause it to
crash.
