Hi Keith -- You need to start windisk on both the PC and on the braille lite Go to the options menu and find the option -- I think it's way down at the end, but I can't remember the quick key to get to it -- either w or w-chord. Then you can see both the braille lite file system and the PC current folder on your PC. Good luck. --le ----- Original Message ----- From: "Keith Bundy" <okb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <guispeak@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>; <vicug-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, January 22, 2005 6:28 PM Subject: [guispeak] Braille Lite 2000 and WinDisk I recently purchased a Braille Lite 2000. It has the latest update, and I am trying to run Windisk 3.5 with it in order to transfer some files. When I try to run WinDisk, I get the message that the note taker cannot be detected. I really need to transfer some files this evening, if possible. If anyone has a clue as to what I might do, feel free to email off-list, as I know this is a bit off-topic. FYI, I have the serial port on, half-duplex, 8 stop bits, 1 data bit, no parity, and software handshaking set in my braille Lite, and I am running it with Windows XP Home Edition. Thanks for any help you may be able to give me. Keith Bundy 605-480-0976 okb@xxxxxxxxxxxxx -- No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus.
