I give my children happiness.

I give them joy and freedom.
I take the love they give.

I give my children laughter.
I give them beauty to see.
I give them everything I can.
I take their kisses for me.

I give my children independence.
I give them flowers to smell.
I give them pure thoughts.
I take the secrets they tell.

I give my children education.
I give them food to eat.
I give them sence of feeling.
I take their smiles so sweet.

I give my children manners.
I give them clothes to wear.
I give them music to hear.
I take the memories they share.

I give my children a mother.
I give my children me.
I give my children all there is.
I take whats rare to see.

When they grew up and leave me.
And they're face to face with you.
Will you be the same as them?
Will you share, be kind, be true?

Please memorise this rhyme of mine.
And give and take like me.
Then our children will grow up.
In perfect harmony.
