[guide.chat] What a busy time

hi to you all again, just another update, the 3 of us have been busy again, the
boys have been to the gym, into town and enjoying the time as with the half
term there were no kiddie activities for them, the weather here has been
showers, sunny and breezy so have had to do the outside jobs whenever possible,
we now get the local council to cut our grass but we still trim the hedges and
do the weeding and tending to the flower beds ourselves, Steve used to work as
part of a grounds maintanence team when he had sight, he did fencing, tree
felling, dry stome walling and lots of similar work to keep the outside of
local parks and places owned by the local historical trust neat and tidy, we
have quite a large garden so try to keep it tidy and pretty as we both remember
what it all looked like, it's sad that we can't see the colours now but can
smell and feel the plants and hedges so will keep on enjoying it while we can,
Scott likes to help by digging holes but he tries to help, if you put anything
on the ground he runs away with it but will bring it back as he thinks it's a
game ha ha, we have a patio area for sitting out on and that is surrounded by
lovely smelling plants, nice in the warm weather but it gets lots of bees and
butterflies so we try to make our plants nature friendly as well, did some bulb
planting yesterday, put daffodils, tulips, crocus and snowdrops into compost
filled pots, and also put some in a raised flower bed so that we can have some
colour in the spring, enough for now, ta ta from Vanessa, Steve and Scott x x
