I am not contributing nuch myself at present but I am working on a short autbiograohical short story which I shall send when it is finished Unfortunately I have both sight and hearing problems so I can only use my computor for short spells at a time. I am one of these elderly folk trying to keep up with the modern age and desperately anxious not to be a nuisance to younger folk.I have friends and a caring family but I am alone (not lonely) fot much of the time as I have serious mobility problems. However I am still managing to look after myself; although I do have help with shopping and housework Classic fm, raio 4 and the rnib talking book service help and I also run two small monthly groups for Bolton U.3/A One a craft group making our own birthday cards and the other a group fot visually inpaired members. We share and discuss audio books, write reminiscences and watch dvds of general interest on my large TV screen. With you all in spirit. I have enjoyed writing this. I am now going to spend an hour or so re- conditioning Christmas cards for my daughter to sell at their church Christmas Fair in aid of families in Zimbabwe where she worked for several years training black students to be teachers. I have to do them early as she lives in Hertfordshire and they have to be ready for her to take back next time she visits me. Love Elizabeth
