Hi and everyone else,sorry I do not agree with you,think back to when you were
a kiddie did you not enjoy seeing all the pretty colours and stars in the sky,I
do agree that it is not necessary to have the big bangs etc but it is only
since I have become blind that I don't like it,but for the children's sake I
can put up with a few bangs once a year ,what I really don't agree with is
having fireworks on New Years eve,I think they should be restricted to only on
firework night .

Hi All
What do people think about bonfire night? I absolutely hate it and think it's
about time it was abolished. Perhaps I'm just a killjoy, but I think it's so
unfair to make all the poor, frightened animals endure the loud bangs and
screeches which are so unnecessary. My own cat doesn't bother, but my mum's
cat and my sister's dogs are terrified and have to be given a tranquillizer,
prescribed by the vet. It rained here so we didn't hear many. However, it's
dry today so we're bound to hear them tonight.
