 I borrowed ( stole!) this from our BSI disc.

Some elderly ladies were chatting when one said how sorry she was that none of 
her grand children bothered to thank her for the gifts she sent them.
Sometime later when they met again she was asked whether they still did not 
thank her,Oh now they all come to thank me, how did you manage that they asked  
Simple she answered I simply did not sign their cheques !
