Yea, when I really think about it.... I've ordered tote bags, note pads, and
neck wallets, based on registration #s. They should have to pay an
administrative fee for those things that were ordered from them and will not be
needed.

This is the statement that is on the registration form. We are within our
rights to at least ask for that. We are actually within our rights to ask for
the whole $165. I just wanted some guidance. At this point, I cannot see that
we would be out anything other than the 3.35 it cost to register this person.
The policy protects us from mass amounts of people leaving, I get that. And I
know that the minute I let one person off, there could potentially be 10 more.
I think I am just a bit overwhelmed today since it is my last day here.
Cancellations must be made in writing to the Registrar prior to January 14,
2013. All cancellations will be subject to a $50 administrative fee.
Registrants that cancel prior to submitting payment will be sent an invoice for
the $50 administrative fee. Please note that non-payment does not constitute
cancellation. Registrants who do not attend and do not cancel will be charged
for the entire registration fee. Registration transfers (substitutions) are
available through the first day of the conference.
