It’s the economically disadvantage that is based on their free or reduced
lunch.

Is there a free and reduced lunch indicator in SLDS or is it an
economically disadvantage indicator which is different?

I was kind of halfway eavesdropping on the CIO phone call while Josh was
listening to it, when I heard something that got my attention. The USDA
told the DOE to remove the Free and Reduce indicator in SLDS. They don’t
believe teachers should have access to this information. Rather than
fighting them, they are just removing it. Carol is supposed to let the
whole SLDS board know. This is something we may want to put in our
newsletter to address why it is missing.
