Otra forma mas es cambiando la macro style.dm en la linea 80:
body.bgimage \{ background: url("_httpimages_/chalk.gif") scroll repeat-y left
top; \}
reemplazarla por
body.bgimage \{ background: none; \}
o borrarla, es lo mismo.
