You can do it there I believe. Look at this EE post to see if this will help
you better:

Thanks Shane! How would I set the wallpaper? Do I have to do it through Active
Desktop?

Thanks again!

You can set a homepage for everyone via: User Config -> Windows Settings -> IE
Maintenance -> URLs; I’m not sure about the background color. I do believe you
can change it by maybe using a pic file (.gif, .jpg, or .bmp), but not sure.
You can set a wallpaper/background so I’m sure you can set a color.

Is it possible to set a IE Homepage for everyone and set a background color
(not wallpaper, just color)? This is for remote users.

Thanks!

Harry,

you can restrict access to the applets in ControlPanel – also the “Settings”
tab among others. Have you checked UserConf\AdmTemp\ControlPanel \Display?

Cheers,

Florian

I also have a little gp setting i'm not sure where it could be configured.

I have some publicly accessibly dell optilexes that are using the built-in
video driver. When a user right-clicks on the desktop they are given Graphic
options to change the display settings.

I guess the easiest way would be to restrict right-click on the desktop, but
where ?

If that poses a problem to management, is there a way to disable that function
with the right-click context menu ?

Thanks,

Savanah-

For the clock, you should see it under User Config/Admin Templates/start menu &
Taskbar.

For allowing users to change their default printer, they should be able to do
that normally. Are you asking how you can define a specific default printer via
GP?

How do I set the policy to show/disable the system clock in the lower right
hand corner?

How do I set the policy to allow users to change their default printer?

Thank you!
