OK apparently it has been a while since I scripted Updating ACL's using
vbscript and WMI
Give me a day or so and I will dig through my scripts and see what I can
come up with or I will try to point you to a simpler method- I was looking
at the cacls.exe utility to give you the quick fix but I am not sure if you
can specify special deny permissions using it--maybe only a complex script
will work.

Ok I am trying to learn how to do all this I know what I do know from
tinkering the past 2 days. Can you explain how to make a logon scrypt that
does that and explain a little better

Run a script to set a deny right to create folders on the C: make this an
add change to the ACL - add this script to your computer startup script and
viola- miller time.

I have set the rights in the group policy to not allow any creation os files
on c:\ however it will let you creat a new folder on c and then you can
save whatever you want to that folder. Anyone know how to fix this?
