Martin- I've seen this mentioned before and if I remember correctly, there is no way to work around this. This is a function of IE's behavior. It seems that no matter whether you check the boxes in the policy to "put at top" and/or "delete previous links" there are inconsistencies with the application of the policy. In IE6 the favorites are always put at the bottom while in IE7 the whole list gets alphabetized and they are inserted in the appropriate place (really annoying if you have a long, organized list). Also, a normal gpupdate will not put them back if deleted by a user but the force option will put them back (including a re-org in IE7, Grrrr). Any thoughts, suggestions? Martin T.
