the sysvol tree never needed rebvuilding (After i checked all
junctions and replication)

I did find that frs diagnostic reported that the dns wasnt using its
normal dns instead of "mailsrv3" it is using "servwin02" but they
both return the same IP address

the diagnostic utlity ttold me to change it in adsiedit - im there but
im wondering what precautions I should take before taking this step?
