Our wsus is on a server that also acts as a SMS 2003 distribution point.
It servers around 10,000 machines with no issues.

Philip,

do you have wsus running on a server alone, or is it running alongside
other applications? I am wondering how resource intensive wsus is?

We used WSUS 2.0 (now have 3.0 running) to distribute IE 7 to over 5000
machines with no issues.

Subject: [gptalk] Pushing out IE7 by GPO

Hi there,

I have searched and searched but I cannot find a good way to push out
IE7 by GPO.
Can anyone give me any ideas? It would seem that MS would create an MSI
package for this, but no luck.
