Yes, WPKG is an very flexible, scripted deployment tool for use with Group Policy. In some ways it is kind of a poor man's SMS, especially when Software Installation policy alone just won't cut it. They have a big following so there is always lots of information on how to deploy some of the more problematic (non-MSI) installations.
