I am looking at enabling My Documents redirection and off-line files. I
set the redirection to Basic, "Create a folder for each user under the root
path", and set the root path to \\server\shares\users
Even though we use the Home folder property I did not use the "Redirect to
user's home folder" because we have both Windows 2000 and Windows XP
workstations.
I then configured the off-line files to "Synchronize all off-line files
before logging off".
The My Documents are redirected to the home folder but a copy does not
remain on the computer. So the documents are no longer available to the
laptop users. How do I fix this? Also with this enabled, should the files
become available off-line if the user receives a new laptop?
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you,
