Alan-
Windows installer is transactional so when the connection is lost, it will
rollback on its own. You should not have to do anything.

Subject: [gptalk] Network issues & GPOs
Hello guys, thanks for the feedback on my last question. Heres another I
could do with some insight.
I have a Windows Installer application specified in a gpo, & its assigned to
tech computers in their OU. I restart those tech computers to enable the
policy to take effect & the installation begins. The file server hosting the
Windows Installer application loses its connection to the network during
installation.
Will the deployment automatically continue when the network is restored, or
will I have to roll back the installation on each computer & start again?
Tnx
Alan
