The frustration is, where I am making the changes, does not seem to have an effect. I am trying to not have the dreaded Open File - Security warning pop up when my staff tries to install things from my remote NAS file server What is wierd, is I use folder redirection which points to the same NAS, and when users run the same executables, the ydon't get the Open File warning. But if they run that same eexcutable from a mapped drive to a different folder on the file server, the Open File Warning box pops up. Another annoying things, is if i set the site to zone assignment GP settings, the users are unable to add sites because it is greyed out. I try to disable or reverse the policy, and I am still unable .. Very frustrating at this point. I am thinking, I am in the wrong section of group Policy
