Yes, I think you're going to run into the same problem unless your systems
are running GP synchronously (i.e. Fast Logon Optimization disabled).

I've had a problem at a client site before that was being caused by running
GPupdate in a startup script because a policy update was already in
progress.
Would this also be considered a bad thing to do during a logon script?
