Yes, its probably not a great idea to redirect both to the same location. The other alternative is that you just ignore the error. Should I split them up instead? I don't really want an empty "programs" folder on the desktop, but I don't want to put the desktop icons in a programs folder either since some users won't be able to find them. _____ From: tools@xxxxxxxxxx [mailto:tools@xxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, September 30, 2008 11:24 AM To: gptalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [gptalk] Re: GP for TS error on folder redirection Actually, I've seen this message before. You get this when you are redirecting Start Menu, since Programs is a folder under Start Menu. Try creating a 'Programs' folder on your server-based redirected Start Menu folder-I suspect the message will go away. The new directories for the redirected folder could not be created. The folder is configured to be redirected to <\\tm-newport\terminalserverfolders\general\Programs>, the final expanded path was <\\tm-newport\terminalserverfolders\general\Programs>. The following error occurred: Access is denied. I don't understand this because I have the Desktop, Start Menu, and My Documents redirecting, but there isn't even an option to redirect 'Programs". So I'm not sure where this error is coming from. Any ideas? Thank you!
