Nope. Scripts only run in the background. The best you can do is write a script 
that creates a Task Scheduler job to run the script you want or run the script 
remotely using something like PSExec.

Hey All,

If i have a GPO that only contains a startup script under Computer 
Configuration -- is there anyway i an force that GPO to run without having the 
machine(s) restart ?

will gpupdate \\target|computer /force run the script ?
