Brian-

IE Maintenance Policy (User Configuration\Windows Settings\IE
Maintenance\Programs) actually supports setting this. While I'm not a big
fan of IE Maintenance, it is "in the box". Otherwise, you would probably
have to use Process Monitor to track down what reg value is set when these
default programs are modified, and then create a custom ADM or use GP
Preferences Registry policy to do it.

Subject: [gptalk] Email Program

Hello:

I hope maybe someone can help me with this problem. I would like to set
Microsoft Outlook as the default email program for the system and start
menu. Currently my computers on the domain are defaulting to Windows Live as
the email program on the start menu.

Please advise of any solutions that you may have.

Thank you for your help in advance.

Brian
