So are the directions I have below the right way to do this? As for favorites
it is a Folder Redirection option under the new admx's. Is this not the proper
way to do favorites?

You can redirect the desktop natively through Group Policy, but not the
Favorites folder. However, it is possible to redirect the Favorites folder with
some custom registry settings and scripts.

Keep in mind if you're already redirecting to %HOMESHARE%%HOMEPATH% you
shouldn't need to create a new folder for each user upon redirection.

Is it possible to redirect user's desktop and favorites to their home directory?

Via Advanced.

Add my group

Create a folder for each user under the root path selected

And for the root path use the following

%HOMESHARE%%HOMEPATH%

Will this work?

Thanks,
Scott
