Another Pagan River Challenge is in the books.
The 2nd Annual Pagan River Challenge was sailed today in moderate winds that
varied from SE to SE. Six boats competed with two laps around a 3.2 nm
course that featured an exciting spinnaker start and beautiful weather.
Finishers were as follows:
1 - Rebecca J (Mark Christian)
2 - Recovery (John Edwards)
3 - Wind Rush (Steve Butkus)
4 - Alexis (Richard Cassell)
5 - Odyssey (Wayne Willis)
6 - Gotcha (John Perry)
After the race, the crews all gathered at the GPYC which awarded prizes to
the first three finishers.
Special thanks to GPYC for sponsoring this event again this year, and to Sam
Tatum who provided the committee boat.
