[gpsbug] Mike Aiken concert - Saturday, July 29th

The image at right is home for musician Mike Aiken. You've got to love a guy
who's sailed from the Canadian Maritimes to Portugal and Spain, the
Caribbean and now the Chesapeake, all while transferring amps and speakers
ashore on a tender so he could deliver concerts.

 

Mike Aiken is in concert at the Smithfield Little Theater on Saturday, July
29th at 8 PM. The concert is presented by Smithfield Music, a program of the
Isle of Wight Arts League. Proceeds from the concert benefit music education
programs for kids in Isle of Wight schools.

 



You can purchase tickets ($20 per person) from the Christmas Store or the
Smithfield Cultural Arts Center (both on Main Street) or from me at the
Business Association tent at the Saturday Farmers Markets.

 

Perfect concert for sailors. Great music from a "poor man's Jimmy Buffet"
and you'll be helping kids in the County. Hope to see you there.
