[gps-talkusers] very strange occurance with v3.3

Hi. My wife and I both have the M-Power with gps 3.3 and the earthmate blue 
logger receivers.
We have both units and software configured the same.
While we were taking a trip over the weekend, we tried out our units.
we were sitting in the back seat of a van. she was on the left side, and I was 
sitting on the right side.
Her receiver found the satellites almost immediately, while mine never would 
track any, even with the receiver against the window.
After about 30 minutes of trying to get my unit to work, I finally gave her my 
receiver to place near her window.
almost immediately, my receiver was tracking 8 satellites. I don't understand 
why which side of the van would matter, but it did.  bye the way, she was 
sitting on the east side at least I believe so.
the next odd thing was, while we were riding along,
we had look around mode on.
most of the time, our units would report different points of interest at the 
same time.
some times, they would report the same point of interest, but not very often.

now, on the way back, i sat on the left. my receiver would never track any 
satellites.
