Okay. I haven't noticed it before and have started carrying th receiver in
my bag or wear it on th strap over my left shoulder and the bn is toward the
right side of me. I'll keep an eye on it and ask for more help if it
continues to be a problem.

Tina,
Weather should not impact the GPS signals.
If the receiver is against your body, it is possible that the Bluetooth
connection to the BrailleNote can be flakey, especially if it is on the
opposite side of your body from the receiver.
You may notice the same thing when you are using your phone and Bluetooth
headset and they are on opposite sides. I don't know that this is the
issue but the problem should not be the weather.

Hi. Got a surprise on the way home from work. Rain and an overcast sky.
The gps didn't seem to like it either. It woorked for A while then
disconnected and i could get it to reconnect, but it did take a whoile.
Ids it normal for this to happen when it is stormy or thinking about it?

The automatic announcement of Points of Interest and other events are
controlled by the LookAround menu.
If you do not wish to hear points announced you can turn them off in
this menu.
The LookAround menu has other items to configure. For example you can
turn on/off the announcement of a city change or street change.
To open the LookAround menu:
BrailleNote BT/PK: Press space with M.
BrailleNote QT: Press READ with M.
Sense Navigation: Press ENTER with M or BACKSPACE with L.
Hope you find this tip helpful.
