Hi Andrew,
that's right, you will just get an alert when your approaching the destination,
but nothing else. It's great when reading a book while travelling, because you
don't get any interruptions until you reach your destination. I always set it
one stop prior to the one I need, so I have some time to save my position in
the book and put my headphones away etc.
Cheers,
Brett.

just to clarify, when you don't create a route and just set the destination,
if you don't have look around mode on and don't check the distance to the
destination, the gps will remain silent until you reach the destination?

Hi,
The getting warmer function has always been there, but although you can, I
don't use Getting warmer on trains, I just plot the destination and use the
don't create a route option. This way MGeo does not talk, it will just sound an
alert when I reach the destination. Of course, I can always manually query the
distance to destination when ever I want.
Cheers,
Brett.

is that like setting a User poyas a destination and then using the
getting warmer function?
I thought that the getting warmer function on the Mobile GEO was not
included in the 1.5 upgrade.

HI Andrew
I do the same asasteve
set my destination and then listen to what I am going by as it comes up I
check distance to destination and it gives me an idea of how long we have to go
if I am not on a familiar route, today I have been up to London and it allowed
me to get myself and dog ready in perfect timing to get off the train, often I
am ready to far in advance if I have not used the GPS as I do not want to be
caught out by not being ready.
