Hi all,
I thought I knew the gps program pretty well, but I must be missing something.
I live in Merced California and created a route to a business in Turlock which
is some 20 plus miles away.
I want to look at the route prior to our using it in a few days.
I know you can do this with the w command to walk through the waypoints. But,
what I really would like to do is be able to see the route with only the
turning points. It's a vehicular route of course, so the waypoints are okay
but turning points really give you a better sense of the overall picture of the
route.
Is there a way to go through the route in virtual mode and bypass all the
extraneous waypoints?
I do see a command which will give you the next turning point from whatever
waypoint you happen to be on in virtual mode, but you don't seem to actually
be able to "travel" it.
Thanks,
Don
