[gps-talkusers] traffic noise, speakers

I don't think you want Sendero in the business of manufacturing mass market
consumer electronics. One has to sell hundreds of thousands before they can be
$15 like the Radio Shack speaker.

We'll just have to hope one day one of the big manufacturers will bring out a
small Bluetooth speaker. The other possibility would be bone conduction head
phones. I have tried some in the past. Although they work well because they
don't cover your ears, they take at least 4 WATS of amplification, twice that
of the Radio Shack speaker.
If bone conduction technology improves, perhaps this will be a good option in
the future.
