Zach,
You will need to do some research to find out what states you will be
flying over. That is not something most people would know without
viewing a map.
Southwest used to allow GPS use but you should check with them to see
the latest.
We recommend that you present a Braille card to the flight attendant.
Have a note written on the back which says, "May I have permission to
use my Braille GPS device above 10,000 feet on this flight?" Ask the
flight attendant to present that to the pilot.
If you get permission, place the receiver between the window shade
and the window facing out. If it is a tight fit, take the receiver
out of its case. Position it in the middle of the window.
Again, do this only if you get permission.

Hi, I will be commuting between Baltimore Md and Albuquerque, Nm on
SW airlines. What maps will I need to make the commute and get
coverage throughout the flight? Also, any restrictions on that
airline re: gps that I should know about?
