[gps-talkusers] survey about the chat room

Yes, I have an interest in the chat.  My problem is that I am busy,
and often don't have time to come.

I'd prefer a bit earlier on Wednesdays, but that's just me, and
because I live in the Eastern US.  8:00 P.M. would be much better than
9:00.  However, I realize that you have to keep things in a reasonable
time frame for all.

 > every day during set hours?

I might do that.  It would be a good thing to have the chat open in
the daytime so that perhaps teachers, trainers and O&M personnel could
come.

 > Fourth, would you participate if a specific GPS class was offered?

Now, that, I might do.  That would be extremely helpful, especially if
the sessions were archived. 

One additional comment.  Do not appologize for using the TCConference
software.  Many people are using it, and it is becoming a fixture for
many groups, including: OPAL, National Library Service, Ocusource,
EASI, and more.  People who do not have microphones on their computers
are missing out on a great deal, what with skype, and so on.  If
places like For-The_People are chock full of participants on a daily
basis, then you shouldn't appologize for using a software that is
accessible, works on most platforms, (BTW, it doesn't really work on
Linux unless you're running X-Windows, and although the
Gnome people would like to make you *think* their stuff is working, it
isn't).  However, it does work on Mac and Win9X.  So, I don't see any
reason to use phones unless you're going to use cell phones in some
kind of demo outside.  Hmmmm, I think you can link phones to the
TCConference software somehow, but I don't know how.  Talk to ACB
Radio about that.
