Hi kevin, you are so right! I had to do the chord x on the mpower to get it to recognize all the Missouri files then when I copied them, GPS opened the map fine. I realize it is pretty taxing on the poor old mpower processor to copy files like that and would normally copy or move files using the pc, but if I don't have access to my computer, it is nice to know that copying or moving maps can still be done on the mpower though it is tedious. Hi Jim,

It is possible that in the process of copying the files from one
CompactFlash card to another CompactFlash card in the mPower that the files 
may have been corrupt. Use File Manager on the mPower or Windows
Explorer,check to  see that you have the following 8 files on the card in
question:
2009_poi_missouri_bonus
2009_POI_Missouri_Bonus
2009_poi_missouri_core
2009_POI_Missouri_Core
Missouri-2009.cdb
Missouri-2009.zdb
Missouri_1-2009
Missouri_2-2009

Questions about copying and moving maps.  I have copied a number
of states to my CF card and some to another smaller one.  Using
my Mpower, I copied the Missouri map from my alternate card to
the CF card with the maps folder in it.  I copied all Missouri
files into the map folder.  They were not in a separate Missouri
folder.  Opening GPS, when I tried to point the city selection to
Missouri it only found California and Hawaii, the only other two
states currently in my map folder.  Yet, when I chose the
Missouri map on the other CF card from the Gps options, the map
opened fine, just without the commercial and user POI's because
they were not in that folder.  So why wouldn't the GPS system
open the Missouri map in the map folder? Could the Missouri files
have gotten corrupted when copying them from one CF card to the
other in my Mpower? I wouldn't think so, but it's a riddle I
can't solve.  Any suggestions?  Thanks, Jim
