[gps-talkusers] replacing maps

Hello all
I don't know how I did this but I lost part of my maps.  I lost the flash card. 
 I bought my gps last summer would it be wise for me to just go aheaed and 
upgrade my maps?  How much would it cost if I needed to replace my maps.  I 
don't have any loaded in my braille note because I couldn't get the maps to 
load.  I haven't had much time to play with my gps.
How can I play the dvd's that come with the gps?
