[gps-talkusers] Re: question about locations

Doc's response about standardization for odd and even addresses isn't 
accurate.

The general rule is that as you proceed away from the center of a city, the 
even addresses will be on your righthand side, at least in the U.S.  Thus, if 
you find the city center and go south, the even addresses will be on your 
right or the west side of the street; and if you take that same street north 
from the center of town, the even addresses will also be on your right, on the 
east side of the street.

Thus, 715 W. Willow Street will be on the south side of the street, since it 
is an odd number and you are traveling west away from the center of the town.

In the UK The odd numbers that is 1, 3, 5 are on the left hand side if you
start from number 1. This will usually be the south or east side of the
street but I have found instances where this does not hold good.

and east sides of the stree an odd numbers are on the north and west sides.
