You'd think that voice in the background environment would be less intrusive than not wearing gloves and trying to feel dots in sub 0 conditions.:)

All I can tell you, is that below 10 degrees, the refreshable braille display dots feel soft. I cary my Braille note Pk, across my right shoulder, and keep it under my left arm. It is more protected, swings less, and I can read with my left hand while my cane is in my right. I don't want the GPS speech to distract me from listening to the environment.
