[gps-talkusers] Re: question

I got the impression he was asking what category to search for to find a city that's a certain distance from where he is. That category is something like center of settlement in GPS 3.3.

You can search for anything you want. Just press the dot 4 key to get the poi's within a quarter mile and the control f for farther away and it will ask you which category and give you the list starting with all, so start with all and see what you find.

Just key in the state and the city and it should give you some cross streets. I'd actually, when they ask for a street name put in Main because just about every city has a main street. It may be you will come up with a number of matches but just writing Main will help or write 1st if no mains come up.

Hi, Using 3.3, what is the category we need to input to find a city? Also, If I want to look at a city across the country from where I am, since POI searches are limited to 1000 miles, what's the easiest way to get there?
