Hi,
Yes, I am familiar withgetting a list of cross streets and their
accompanying zip codes. I was hoping a feature could be added to bypass
having to scroll through a list of cross streets and simply entering a known
cross street or poi in that field. This would really speed up the process of
creating routes from a known location to a destination. Thanks.

: Yes, put in the city, street, and in the nexfield where it ask for number,
: it also says just to hit enter and you will be given a list of cross
streets
: crossing the street you entered.

: Kevin,
: What I am asking about is the possibility of entering the name of a known
: cross street or a previously created user poi or a commercial poi as an
: alternative to the address after entering the city and street name while
: setting an address. Sometimes I have no idea of the exact adress, but I do
: know a cross street.

:: Sheila,
::
:: Both of these are currently possible.
::
:: If you are wanting to set a poi as either your destination or virtual
:: position; you can do the following:
:: 1. stand at the spot you are wanting to mmake a poi, make sure you have a
:: gps fix
:: 2. on the bt press space with dot 3 and on the qt press control with r;
: type
:: in the name for that location, and if you want to add details, just put
in
:
: a
:: comma (for example, home, 555 north thornton rd); the information after
: the
:: comma will only be presented if you expand the poi by pressing
: space/control
:: p
:: 3. press enter to confirm the poi name/details
:: 4. in the future you will be able to find this poi by doing space/control
: f
:: and accepting all/user for the category
:: 5. for the search string, type in home if you are using the example above
: or
:: whatever you might be looking for
:: 6. press space/control d to set the poi as your destination or
:: space/control v to set it as your virtual position.
::
:: I hope the above mmade sense and wasn't too way out there. the / denote
:: either bt/qt commands or choosing either one of two items as in
all/user.
::
:: entering cross street
:: This is also currently possible. When you are presented with the street
: name
:: field, type in the street name you want, either one will do. when you are
:: presented with the next field, address number, press enter and a list of
:: cross streets will be brought up. You can then define it as your
:: destination, poi, or virtual
::
:: I hope this helps.
