Sheila,

It is possible to set a intersection as either your virtual position or your 
destination. I will outline it again below.

Lets say you are wanting the intersection of haight and curry in the city of 
Lodi. You really don't care about the address number or not quite sure of 
what it might be. I will do this example for my area.

state: california
city: lodi
street name: haight
address number: (this field says: enter the address number or press enter 
for a list of cross streets), so press enter for a list of cross streets
choose curry
You have now avoided the need for an address and you can define the above 
using either virtual or destination

Point of Interest
you cna do a chord f and search for a POI commercial/user and set that poi 
as your destination or your virtual position
