[gps-talkusers] Re: orce new route?

Hi Alex,

Did you try recalculating it while on the different road? The system will
take your new starting point and create the fastest vehicle route based on
the road speeds to your destination. If the road you are on is slower than
a nearby one the system will route you off your road and onto the faster
highway when creating vehicle routes. Now when you create a pedestrian
route it is no by speed but instead by the shortest distance.

Thanks.

Subject: [gps-talkusers] orce new route?

Hi again,
I forgot that I have a second question. On the way down to Mass,
my bn wanted me to go a certain way. We were already on a
different road, though, and I wanted to know how to get to the
Base from where we were, since we were not about to turn around.
How, basically, can I say to my gps: "I don't care what you think
the route should bee; we're going along this road and not turning
back, so tell me how to get there from here, not your primary
choice." Ideas? I know there was a way since we never did turn
around. I hope this made sense; for the last eleven days I have
gotten six hours of sleep, sometimes, usually less, plus a lot of
work in a lot of humidity, while wearing the old-style camouflage
uniform, sleeves unrolled; therefore, if this email sounds odd,
sorry.

Have a great day,
Alex
